New accounts start in a guided tutorial. An illustrated September 6, 2026 walkthrough says the tutorial ends only after you score 3 goals. Own goals and goals scored by teammates do not close it. When it ends, the screen shows a tutorial-complete message and a Roll Item prompt, and you land in the main lobby with free item rolls waiting.

Confirm the experience

Join from the Repotted listing for place 126987974021910. The public title sometimes gains a bracket prefix such as clubs, ranked, or curve shots. The games record read on October 11, 2026 used the name Illegal Soccer, creator group Repotted, universe 10155360168. A similar soccer title from another creator is a different game, including any code list attached to it.

The official description is soccer with guns, grappling hooks, jetpacks, tackles, explosions, and oil spills, and with no referees. Goals still decide the match. The same record lists no price and a maximum of 8 players.

Tutorial order

The September 6 walkthrough, tied to in-game prompts, lists this sequence:

  1. Walk into the ball. Contact picks it up. There is no separate grab key. Left click sends it forward.
  2. Right click passes, F lobs, and R asks the carrier to send the ball back.
  3. Hold left click to hit an opponent, then press E to slide into them. The tutorial asks for both before it continues.
  4. Press Space to dribble when an opponent is about to reach you. The prompt appears as they commit.
  5. Touch the question-mark box, press 1 to equip what it gives you, then left click to use it.
  6. Score 3 goals yourself.

If the Roll Item prompt never appears, you are still short of those three goals.

Lobby, then a live server

Servers hold up to 8 players, with up to 4 on each side. Step on the team pad that still has room. A colored ring under your feet marks your side. Public footage has shown both Red and Blue labels and pink or cyan rings, so trust the ring and the scoreboard in your server. The pitch has a running clock, and the higher score wins. Tackles and gadgets affect teammates too. A stray shot is not a foul.

Cross to the far side of the lobby hub for the practice area. It has an AI goalkeeper and space to test mystery cubes before you queue. Early September match frames also show a level bar, XP, and a coin counter in practice, plus Stats on Tab and Return to Lobby on L. Treat those labels as observations from that build and reread the current HUD.

Before you press Play

Open the gear icon at the top left. Turn Assisted Passes on while you learn, and leave Automatic Item Use off so a jetpack or rocket punch does not fire by itself. Close the menu and test one pass, one tackle, and both item slots in the lobby.

Coins pay out from matches and fund shop rolls. One coin walkthrough says the counter ticks during play and a larger payout lands at the whistle, scaled by the result. Exact payout numbers are not published. Spend them only after you can pick up the ball, pass, and recover on purpose. The items and shop guide covers what a roll actually buys.

First live possessions

At kickoff, read score and timer, then your color, then both goals, then the ball, then item slots. If a teammate is already past the first defender, pass. If every lane is covered, carry sideways instead of through the crowd. When you lose the ball, be the first challenger or the cover player, not the third person chasing the same carrier.

The E prompt can appear as soon as play starts. A reported habit is to time that slide for the first touch. Miss it and the recovery animation leaves you still, so only commit when the carrier is in range. The defense guide covers stamina and that recovery.

Curve shots, Ranked, and Clubs are later systems. Clear the tutorial and one normal match before you spend 1,000 Coins on a roll or chase the five-item Ranked requirement.

After three matches, change one habit: orientation, one pass that should have come earlier, or one gadget you fired before you knew who would collect the ball.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How many players are in a match?

Servers hold up to eight players, with up to four on each side. Step on the team pad that still has room. A colored ring under your feet marks your side.

How do I curve a shot?

Curve is its own keybind. Open the gear menu and read the Curve row, because videos show middle mouse, right click, and T as defaults. Hold that input while you shoot and move the aim sideways. Practice it on the lobby AI keeper before you use it in a live match.

What is Illegal Soccer?

It is Repotted's Roblox soccer match for up to eight players. The official description adds guns, grappling hooks, jetpacks, tackles, explosions, and oil spills, and it says there are no referees. Goals still decide the match.

Are there Illegal Soccer codes?

Public checks through October 8, 2026 did not find a working code or a redemption control for place 126987974021910. Strings from other Roblox soccer games do not apply here.

How do I unlock Ranked?

A September 20, 2026 ranked update log says you need five owned items, then ten placement matches. Legal Ranked turns items off. Illegal Ranked leaves them on. The same log says repeated leaving can lock you out, while a disconnect can rejoin without that penalty.

Do jerseys or goal effects change my kick?

Jerseys, balls, emotes, and goal effects are cosmetics. They do not change kick power unless the current item card says they do. Roblox Marketplace avatar gear is a different system.
